Henllan POW Camp 70

POW Camp 70; as it was known during WW2, housed over 1,200 Italians during the war. As most of you know the Italians had no place of worship. Therefore they gave up one of their “huts” and converted it to a Catholic church. This hut STILL stands to this day. The old medical centre building still stands. The Water Tower also still stands. Why not come down and have a look for yourself?

Viewing is by prior appointment only. Please contact us and book to avoid disappointment. Parties of 12 people or more are required. £5 ahead, cost all goes towards maintenance and upkeep of the church.
